Perhaps buying a house on a cliff where people sometimes came to end their lives wasn't a good idea, but this is what Pippa and Gabe did.Β Gabe even became famous for his skill in convincing people to change their minds.Β This changed one fateful day when a woman fell to her death. When her identity was revealed questions were raised. Was it suicide, an accident, or murder?
THE SOULMATE by Sally Hepworth is a domestic thriller that keeps readers engrossed from start to finish. Told in the voices of Pippa and Amanda, the deceased woman, the well-plotted story unfolds.Β There is a level of tension that grows as secrets are revealed and threats are made.Β The characters are complex and will surprise readers when they reveal what they are capable of.
I found this character-driven story to be well-written and engrossing.Β For those who enjoy a fast-moving psychological thriller, THE SOULMATE is well worth reading.Β Highly recommended.Β
And would Gabe, the love of Pippa’s life, her soulmate . . . lie? As the perfect facade of their marriage begins to crack, the deepest and darkest secrets begin to unravel.
