THE NIGHT THEY VANISHED is a skillfully told thriller, and there is a sense of dread on every page. As the story progresses, far more startling and complicated plots emerge.  There is no shortage of flawed characters, and some are intent on vengeance and malice.  Amongst the worst is Hanna and Sasha's father who is so damaged that it's hard to know where to begin with listing his glaring shortcomings.  Packed with unexpected twists and shocking revelations right up to the end, this book is a real page turner.  Highly recommended.
