Romance Suspense | Romance Military | Holiday

Zenobia “Zee” Hanely is hiding out in Alaska and trying not to’l get close to her closest neighbor. She’s having no luck. Zee along with her team are on the run for their lives because of a mission gone bad. She doesn’t want to hurt her neighbor when she has to leave suddenly. John Lowry is a former Navy SEAL dealing with PTSD and being medically discharged from his former life. He’s trying to keep his distance from his beautiful neighbor but has no luck. When a group of assassins comes to kill Zee John’s warning saves her life and brings him into her secret. He’s determined to help the woman he’s fallen in love with whether she wants him to or not. Zee is determined to leave him behind, but her feelings just may get in the way, during a race to a secret destination that is filled with danger and suspense.

ALASKAN CHRISTMAS RESCUE is the second book in Juno Rushdan’s Fugitive Heroes: Topaz Unit series. A woman and man with their individual secrets will have to work through their feeling while fleeing across the northwestern part of the United States. An obsessed assassin determined to find and kill for personal just may win this tense suspenseful cat and mouse game of survival. Will this couple on the run be able to fall in love along the way?

ALASKAN CHRISTMAS RESCUE keeps the reader wondering what the personal reason the assassin is after the heroine. There are tense, dangerous situations that will keep you wondering if the hero can save the day. Will his PTSD and physical injury play a factor in their getaways? As these two travel from Alaska to Washington state and then on to Wyoming, you’ll learn these characters' secrets and new information about who just maybe behind their botched mission that sent the Topaz Unit on the run for their lives. ALASKAN CHRISTMAS RESCUE is a great read by Juno Rushdan who’s become a favorite of this reader when I’m wanting an author who does intrigue, danger, and suspense so well.
