Romance Western

The first book in the Once Upon a Time in Texas book series by Carly Bloom, entitled BIG BAD COWBOY, is a western romance sure to tug at your heartstrings. A story of love, loss, hope, family drama, and second chances.

BIG BAD COWBOY is an interesting read that will draw you in from the very beginning and leave you wanting more with each page you turn. The characters are interesting and relatable, making them easy to fall in love with.

It all starts when Maggie and Travis meet in high school. Even though Travis is a few years older than Maggie, they manage to meet at a costume party and sparks fly. One thing leads to another and steamy moments follow turning up the heat to a sizzling hot romance full of ups and downs. When Travis leaves for the army, Maggie is heartbroken.

Years later after returning from the Army, Travis is back in town and ready to get his life back together. He is keeping busy by helping sell his ranch and taking care of his nephew Henry. Even though Maggie has never felt his thoughts, he does not expect they will ever have a relationship together. Will a second chance be in the cards when they met again or will the past stay in the past?

The chemistry between Maggie and Travis is still steamy but more of a slow burn. The rekindling of their romance is what brings BIG BAD COWBOY alive. Bloom writes with a loving touch and romance is sure to follow.

BIG BAD COWBOY is a remarkable love story of second chances. A story that is relatable and realistic making this a story that will stay with you long after reading.

SUMMARY

Fans of New York Times bestselling authors Lori Wilde and Maisey Yates will adore this new hot 'n' sexy cowboy series from debut author Carly Bloom.
Who's afraid of the big, bad cowboy?

After one too many heartbreaks, Travis Blake hung up his cowboy hat and put Big Verde, Texas, behind him. But when he gets the call that his young nephew needs him, he knows he has to return home. His plan is to sell the family ranch and hightail it back to Austin, but there's a small problem: the one person who stands in his way is the one person he can't resist.

Maggie is pretty sure she hates Travis Blake. He's irritating, he's destroying her business, and . . . and he's just so frickin' attractive. But when they're forced to work together, Maggie discovers that the Most Annoying Man in the World is more than he seems. He's sweet with his nephew, he helps out in the community, and he makes her heart flutter. Maggie doesn't want to risk everything on a man who wants to leave, but what if she can convince this wayward cowboy to stay?
