A swoon worthy bad boy will melt your heart in THE
HEARTBREAK CURE by Amanda Ashby with brownies, witty banter,
and so much more. This young adult romance novel is sure to
draw you in
and having you devouring page after page wanting more. Both Cat and Alex have one thing in common, they both are
being shamed for something that really wasn't their fault.
Something they had no control over. Now they must find a way to
pick up the pieces and move on. Cat gets featured in a YouTube
video that goes wrong and now her embarrassing breakup is
viral. The video is spreading across the internet and there is
nothing she can do about it. All these crazy rumors are sure to
hurt her chance of becoming a journalist. The only way she can think to fix this is by enlisting her
neighbor to be her pretend boyfriend. Things should be easy
since this is a "fake" relationship, right? Well what happens
when fake feelings and the truth get blurred? Well that is
where this story differs from most "fake dating" stories that
many have read before. Alex has a reputation for being a lone wolf, the bad boy who
is shamed by everyone. He thinks that he deserves everything
bad that comes his way, but deep down he wants a scholarship to
study engineering. Hopefully, this will happen at a school that
is far away from this community and he can get a fresh start.
Amanda Ashby has taken the typical "fake relationship" story
and
given it unique twists with creative writing and not your usual
list of characters. Each stands out on their own, but when you
put them together they are a forceful team that can take on all
the haters. Based in a small town, this is the perfect touch to
make THE HEARTBREAK CURE a must read young adult novel.
