I love this short and sweet picture book about a lively cat and her big adventure outdoors.

Pixie has a loving family to care for her, but she is determined to find out what the world outside the window smell and feels like. She wants to chase butterflies and touch grass with her paws. But getting outside for once leads to a scare for the kitten, and her family misses her.

The illustrations in beautiful soft colours by Kerri Lockwood-Doody will make the tale an instant hit with early readers. The message of the story is also a good one for young children to learn.
