Rebecca Zanetti has done it again. Not only has she written a novel the reader won't be able to put down, but she also introduced new characters with the same intensity and passion as in her previous works. In this first installment of her new Blood Brothers series entitled DEADLY SILENCE, Zanetti introduces the readers to another sexy Alpha male with some familiar tendencies. Ryker Jones is a real man. A true alpha male. However, he struggles with his past. He wants answers for him and his brothers and until he gets them he dedicates his life to finding answers for others. His all or nothing personality can sometimes be overwhelming for his newest charge. She challenges him, pushes him and accepts him for who he is. Zara Remington is not only smart and opinionated, but she openly cares for others even in some of the scariest situations. She gives Ryker a safe place to share the secrets that haunt him, endearing them both to the reader. And when life gets out of control for Zara, Ryker is exactly the man she needs to help her.

All of this is wrapped around conspiracy, murder and mystery with a touch of sci-fi flair Zanetti is known for creating. The thing that makes this book one of the best I've read this season are the memorable characters and the action-packed sequences that make the book an exciting and fast read. Although this novel does stand- alone from her previous series, Zanetti's ability to tie past novels into this fresh take on such and interesting concept, easily make her one of the best authors of our time in this genre. If you have not ready any other novels by Rebecca Zanetti, DEADLY SILENCE is a great book to start your fandom of this writer's work. I absolutely suggest this book to new readers of Rebecca Zanetti, and to her fans....go out and get it. You won't be sorry.
