INTO THE FIRESTORM is the final book in Kat Martin's BOSS, Inc. Series and as usual it's full of excitement with plenty of sexual chemistry and danger. This is a great series about these tough, alpha males that become putty when they eventually meet their soulmates. Even though these men are very protective the women prove that the men can and will do whatever is necessary to protect themselves and anyone they love. I have enjoyed reading this series because I love any books by Kat Martin and her style of writing. She always portrays her female characters with admirable strength. Luke Brodie and Emma Cassidy truly find themselves cast INTO THE FIRESTORM when they try chasing down a monster.

When her family is nearly destroyed Emma Cassidy takes on the role of bounty hunter in order to find the monster responsible and destroy him. Luke Brodie was not expecting to see the bounty hunter he had heard about to be this little package of a female that can take down a guy twice her size. When Luke learns that he and Emma are chasing after the same man and that Emma has no intention of stopping, he reluctantly agrees to work with her. Their working relationship will become extremely intense not just from the sizzling chemistry but also because of the numerous threats on their lives.

It's amusing watching this man-with-a-different-woman-every-night fall really hard for this pint-sized tough woman. Luke seems to become claustrophobic whenever he's around his family and watching them interact together. Because of things he has done in his past career he finds it hard to see himself as a family man. It will take Emma's tenacity to convince Luke that he is worthy of having a life of happiness and love.
