THE RIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE is the latest in the McKay series by Shiloh Walker. This book gives us the story of Moira and Gideon. After all these years Gideon is going to try and move on but when danger comes looking for Moira, Gideon cannot stand by and let her suffer. Gideon jumps in to the fight and is more than ready to rescue Moira. People and her family's past have come to harm not only Moira but all of the McKay's. Soon the clues will be put together and the family will find out just who is behind it all. Right now it is Moira who must escape the danger. The mystery that plagues the family comes full circle in this book. Moira is done pushing Gideon away only she may have lost her chance when she is taken and forced to help a sick and depraved man. Can Gideon save her before it is too late and will he even come to her aid or has she finally pushed him away for good?

I have enjoyed the McKay family from the first book and THE RIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE brings another beautiful romance to this family. Gideon is such a good man and he quickly endeared himself. I was not as enamored with Moira. She is a bit too whiny and selfish for me. She has her strong moments, but I found that I did not care foe some of her actions and reasons for her rejecting Gideon. Even with that in mind the two make a good couple and the love that they do share shines even through Moira's efforts to push Gideon away. Their story is full of emotion and mystery. Love is strong and fights to be acknowledged. So many years have gone by and it was nice to see Moira and Gideon find some peace.

This is book three in the series and would be better enjoyed after reading the previous two. The McKay's have gone through so much, and Moira has taken on so much that she now realizes just what she may be missing out on. I enjoyed watching Moira finally realize her mistakes. Shiloh Walker does a wonderful job of continuing to evolve the storyline around all of the McKay siblings and has woven a great romance throughout the action and mystery in this book.

SUMMARY

Desire won’t take no for an answer in The Right Kind of Trouble by Shiloh Walker

In the small Southern town of McKay’s Treasure, everybody knows that the handsome local police chief, Gideon Marshall, has been carrying a torch for Moira McKay. It’s also no secret that Moira has been rejecting Gideon since…forever. But after an attack from a mysterious stranger bent on taking down the McKay family, Moira becomes filled with distrust toward most men. Now she wonders whether she’s been wrong about Gideon all along—and if it’s not too late to admit him back into her life…and into her bed...

Gideon has finally convinced his wasted heart to give up on Moira, who he’s loved since he was sixteen years old. Moira’s attack changes everything, however—and he vows to protect her. But how much is he willing to risk for a woman who’s always kept him at bay…until now? And is it too late for Moira to tell him that her love for him has always been locked deep in her heart—and he holds the key?
