Julia left Nate on their wedding night after she caught him in her step-sister's arms. She didn't stop, ask questions, nothing, she just left and never looked back. Now, three years later, she is planning on marrying a man more suited to her family status and she must get Nate to sign the annulment papers. As she storms his houseboat with the papers in hand she finds she is soon the target of a group of assassins. Nate is sure of it, and he would be since he works as an assassin for a secret government agency called OPS.
Now on the run, Julia and Nate discover things about each other they never had the chance to uncover years earlier. Most importantly they must reveal who is trying to kill Julia and why. Will they discover this information in time and can they repair what they thought was destroyed.
ASSASSIN'S KISS is book two in J.A. Kazimer's OPS series and I have enjoyed them both. She has intriguing characters, things blowing up and people fighting for their lives. What more could you ask for in a book, romance, it's there too and it's hard earned and deserved. J.A. Kazimer is an author that if you're not reading you should. I love a romance with action and to quote an old movie, "murder, death, kill".
