Picking up a Tessa Dare book is such a delight. You're also always guaranteed a good read. DO YOU WANT TO START A SCANDAL is no exception! In this book, the hero, Piers, and the heroine, Charlotte, find themselves in a room together talking about how she doesn't want to marry him when another couple bursts in. While Charlotte and Piers hide to avoid ruining her reputation, the other couple starts having sex. It's quite a ridiculous situation, but one that Dare handles well with humor and class. However, when the tryst is over and they emerge, they are seen together and people believe that they were the ones to have a quickie. Now Charlotte is trying to prove that it wasn't them while trying to resist Piers at the same time.

As you can guess with the premise of this book, it's filled with humor and good times. I always look forward to a Tessa Dare book because of this reason. Not only will the characters make you fall in love, but there's a pretty fun mystery involved with this story as well.

As much as I love Piers in this story, I think the shining star of this story is really Charlotte. If it weren't for her charm or her forwardness, DO YOU WANT TO START A SCANDAL wouldn't be what it is. Kudos to Dare for creating such a fun and inventive heroine who rivals the men with humor and wit. There is no doubt that Dare has another winner on her hands.
