As the Presidential election nears the Taskforce is forced to shut down due to the after effects of a recent terrorist attack. It doesn't matter that Pike helped lessen the deaths, because it wasn't completely stopped and the fallout is too much for the politicians. So now that he and Jennifer are working on their own business and their own time they have no problem helping a few friends that used to work for the Mossad try to find a missing Torah. Too bad things can't be that simple, as they attempt to gain the Torah stolen by the Nazi's, Pike discovers what could be a conspiracy to start World War III. His only hope is that those back in the State will listen and wait till he gets all the information, and not pull the trigger that could kill millions.

Brad Taylor created a very interesting group of people who work together very well. Jennifer is the calm to Pike. And the Israelis? Well, they are just awesome. I appreciate the very strong female character and the searching that she went through in this book, it made for an intriguing reading.

There is non-stop action throughout the whole book along with mystery as they try to stop the world from ending. GHOSTS OF WAR is another great adventure with Pike and Jennifer, Brad Taylor's favorite characters. Characters you, too, will enjoy.
