interfering with them. If you read the previous novels
from
this series you will be familiar with the characters. If
this
is your first read in this series you may want to read the
previous ones to really understand Sweet Pea/Lily Taylor
and
why these guys are so protective of her. The men of Club
Dominion gave her the name Sweet Pea because of her
demeanor
when she came to live at the Club. When I learned all the
tragedies that Lily went through as a teenager it was
heartbreaking. Shayla Black wrote such a well-written
story
that will pull at your heart strings and have you rooting
for
something positive happening for this young woman.
Lily came from a violent and tragic background that
destroyed
all her confidence which lead to her changing her name and
attempting to start over. After all these years she
thought
she had finally escaped her past when it all resurfaces
again.
Now her life is in danger and her only hope is to confront
her
past.
Stone Sutter is an ex-con who has been put in a position
of
convincing Lily to help put away a drug lord in exchange
for

What I most enjoyed in reading this story was how Shayla
Black
showed the strength in Lily after everything she went
through.
