The first time Honoria Ardmore met pirate Christopher
Raine, she asked for a signature on a pamphlet. He gave it
to her, along with a kiss and then some. Nine years later
they met again, only this time in his cell as he was headed
for the hangman. They came together again, he took her
maidenhead and then married her.
Four years after Christopher's death, Honoria is engaged to
another. However, Christopher has somehow cheated death,
and Honoria is mad as all get out. Christopher has fought
his way back to England with the image of his wife the only
thing that's kept him going. Obtaining a new ship and most
of his old crew, he only has to find his first-mate, claim
his wife and be gone.
Christopher is determined to have his wife love him the
same as he loves her. He knows she craves his body, but he
wants it all. Honoria loved Christopher deeply and was
forced to mourn his death. He has a habit of leaving her,
so she's determined to give him her body and duty, but not
her love. When the unthinkable happens, Honoria is forced
to face the fact that she's always loved Christopher and
may never be able to tell him.
Oh my, what a wonderful story! Christopher and Honoria have
great chemistry. He's such a manly man, he took my breath
away. I highly recommend this book.
Honoria Ardmore is as prim and proper as they come. Her
sole moment of indiscretion was when she fell for a roguish
pirate. But he died—at least, that’s what she assumed—until
the night he showed up eager to pick up where they had left
off…
Christopher Raine cheated death, and he believes life owes
him his just rewards. So he sets out to reclaim the woman
of his dreams. And this insatiable pirate is not one to let
trivial details get in his way. Despite her undeniable
desire, Honoria claims she cannot be with Christopher. And
so they strike a deal: she will allow him to seduce her
every night of their journey. If by the end he fails to
navigate his way into her heart, she will be free to leave.
Honoria is about to learn that a woman should never doubt
the cunning ways of a pirate with a plan.
