TACTICAL PLEASURE is the first book in Men of S.W.A.T. Series
by J. C. Wilder. It's about diner owner,
Miranda White, and SWAT team sniper, John Stephens. Miranda
is really attracted to John but is reluctant to become
involved with him because of his popularity with women. Since
he keeps asking her out and she keeps turning him down John is
willing to do whatever it takes to change the image Miranda
has of him. John shows that when you find the one you have
been waiting for you prove to them you can be the person
they are looking for. John uses his tactical maneuvers skills
to prove he is the right one for her if she will give him a
chance. Miranda learns that perceptions sometimes are not
what they appear to be.
Miranda is totally different from all the other women
John has dated and all his attempts at getting her to go out
with him have failed. But when she ask for his help in
setting her up with one of his fellow officers he has no
intention of allowing that to happen. Once Miranda and John
get together they discover unforgettable pleasure; the scene
in the swimming pool is hilarious. John and Miranda come to
realize they have what each of them has been searching for.
TACTICAL PLEASURE shows how perseverance and going after what you
want can work out and how the right person can change
everything. I enjoyed the novel and only wished it were longer.
