Andi McDonough is working hard as a waitress in Las Vegas,
so
she can fund her graduate studies in social work. She has
always known she wanted to help people and is finally
getting close to achieving her dreams. But when a
rebellious
Prince strips at the bar, Andi cannot help but snap a quick
picture for memory's sake. Sadly this ends up with her
being
fired and her future plans in disarray.
Fast forward one year and Prince Alexander, or Zander to
his
friends and family, is still getting in trouble as the
scandalous one of the royal family. A charming
heartbreaker,
Zander never has to search for female company. But when he
bumps into a fiery, beautiful woman who seems to hate him
on
sight, Zander becomes fascinated with this exquisite woman.
Andi has spent the last year travelling the world, helping
people in any way she can, and has finally ended up in
Italy.
But the last thing she expects to find is the Prince who
cost
her everything. Thrown into each others company through
mishaps
and unusual friends, Andi and Zander cannot deny their
strange
and intense connection. But can two people from the
opposite
sides of life ever really be together? And when things get
more
complicated, can they overcome their misconceptions and
fears,
to take a chance at love?
BAD TO THE THRONE by Jenny Gardiner is the third instalment
of
the It's Reigning Men series, and is another
wonderful addition to this charming collection. Andi is
tough,
independent and a little judgemental, and she has always
shyed
away from relationships. Zander lets the world believe he
is
the superficial Prince, but he has so much more depth and
emotions hidden beneath his charming surface. As Zander and
Andi navigate their new friendship and explosive chemistry,
it
is a joy to see inside their personalities. BAD TO THE
THRONE
by Jenny Gardiner is a compelling and enchanting tale of
romance and chemistry, and I enjoyed it immensely.
Sometimes you can let your heir down a little too much...
When wild-child Prince Alexander goes on a naked bender in a
Vegas swimming pool, cocktail waitress Andi McDonough
decides to preserve a shot of those family jewels on her
phone. But when she's fired for capturing the royal
treasures, she heads off to find herself. After backpacking
the world-over on a dime and a prayer, she finds herself in
Rome, where a chance encounter with the wayward prince only
reinforces to her that Prince Zander is indeed bad to the
throne. And more than likely to her fragile heart as well.
