SEDUCTION IN SESSION is the second book in the Perfect
Gentleman series by Shayla Black and Lexi Blake about
the
wealthy and powerful Perfect Gentlemen of Creighton
Academy.
This group includes a President of the United States; a
powerful man who serves as his aide; a CIA Operative; a
Naval
intelligence officer; and powerful heads of corporations.
In
the first book one of the group was murdered, which led to
some secrets being revealed after the group starts looking
into
their friend's murder. They will learn their friend's
murder has
ties to the past, involving the most powerful of their
group, The President of the United States. Connor Sparks was recruited into the CIA while attending
college. Because of his family background he felt this was
the opportunity he needed to make him feel like be
belonged in this group. But his years as a CIA Operative
took
its toll on Connor. When a tabloid publisher threatens his
friend, he vows to
bring her down even if he has to use deception. Tabloid publisher Lara Armstrong reveals scandals in
Washington she feels constituents have a right to know.
When she starts receiving death threats she decides to
hire a bodyguard: Connor Sparks. Connor and Lara have sizzling chemistry, which brings out a
different side for each of them. As the threats escalate,
as well as the chemistry, the truth about Connor's identity
is
revealed and Lara is devastated. Connor never expected to
fall for
Lara. He will have to convince Lara to forgive him, and
Lara
will have to find a way to trust him.
Anytime you have a novel about
politics, wealth, murder and a tabloid you know there will
be
plenty of intrigue. The Perfect Gentlemen of Creighton
Academy have a reputation from their college days, which
continues to follow them. So whenever one of their names
or
pictures are revealed it's instant news. SEDUCTION IN SESSION is about how far a person will go to
protect a friend
and what those results can be. The Perfect
Gentleman is a great series, which
ends with a cliffhanger that leaves you looking forward to
the
next story!
