Emmaline Gray has lost her vision and her parents because
of a fever when she was a kid while visiting a relative in
France. Her brother, Harry, left her in France and
thought she was dead until recently. Emma was taken in by a healer who
lived in the woods, and she learned healing skills from her.
Now the healer is dead. Emma and her dog return to find his
brother and stay with him in his brothel.
Malcolm Grant is a handsome rake who has broken many
hearts with his wicked charm. He is taking his virgin
brother, Cailean, to his friend's Harry's brothel to make
sure Cailean has a great experience.
Unfortunately, the first night in the brothel Malcolm and his
brother start a brawl and both are injured severely. Now
Emma is working hard to save these two Highlander
brothers who have been nice to her and her dog.
Can a blind girl tame a rake and win his heart?
THE TAMING OF MALCOLM GRANT is the fourth book in the
MacGregors: Highland Heirs series and can be read as a
stand-alone novel. This is the second book I've read by Paula
Quinn and I really enjoyed it. Emmaline and Malcolm are
strong and wonderful characters. They are loyal, sweet and
adorable. The story has a great plot with adventures,
danger, betrayal, romance and passion. This is a beautifully written historical
romance that keeps you entertained through the whole story.
Emmaline Grey
spends her days with her beloved dog, dreaming of the
sea-until a brawling Highlander shatters her quiet life to
pieces. Though her blindness prevents her from seeing his
face, his voice is a warm blend of velvet and silk, and his
rakehell ways unmistakable. Risking the wrath of a rival
clan as she nurses him back to health, Emma soon realizes
the real danger is the magnetic pull she feels to this
half-naked Scot recovering in her bed.
A
RECKLESS ROGUE
With his rugged handsomeness
and wicked charm, Malcolm Grant wants nothing more out of
life than whisky, women, and the occasional war. The only
lass he's ever trusted left him with more scars than a
battlefield. Yet now at the mercy of this sweet stranger,
Malcolm can barely resist the gentle hands that make him
feverish with desire-until Emma, the one he will never have,
is the only woman he wants . . .
