UNDER MY SKIN is the sixth book in the Stark series and it's the third book about Jackson and Sylvia. If you have not read SAY MY NAME and ON MY KNEES I recommend that you read those before reading UNDER MY SKIN in order to understand the storyline of Jackson and Sylvia. ON MY KNEES ended with Jackson and Sylvia at another crossroad that takes their relationship through more turmoil. I have been anxiously awaiting this book because Jackson and Sylvia have some serious obstacles to overcome if their relationship can survive. Ms. Kenner does a wonderful job of displaying both Jackson's and Sylvia's secrets, pains, insecurities and the mechanisms they use when the stress is overwhelming. You will once again be introduced to Damien and Nikki Stark and find out what secrets surround Damien and Jackson.

Jackson Steele and Sylvia Brooks have fought hard for this new re-established relationship and just when it looks like they are finally on track a threat appears. This new threat just may end everything for them. Jackson and Sylvia have control issues they are continuing to work on but this new threat will be a serious one to their relationship and will be the deciding factor as to whether they can make it. Jackson and Sylvia are so into each other that it's easy to see that they have a unique connection and you hope it's unbreakable.

I really enjoyed this story because there are so many factors that come into play, and you wonder how this couple will survive or even if they will survive. This is a great series about determination, strong personalities, perseverance and standing strong under adversity. I hope there will be more novels for this series. A wonderful read!
