COLD MOON is book three of the series by Alexandra Sokoloff. The book begins with former crime victim and serial killer Carla Lindstrom in jail. The FBI must find a way to make the charges against her result in a conviction. They know she has killed at least a dozen people, probably more, and yet they don't know how to prove it. Plus, since her victims are the scum of the earth it is very difficult for anyone to feel sorry for any of them.

Now a new killer has struck while Carla was in jail ensuring her release. The FBI team led by Special Agent Matthew Roarke must find the new killer and keep an eye on Carla before she starts killing again. This is an impossible mission with two or three killers out there possibly working together. The FBI is at their wits end. Only Special Agent Roarke understands Carla and has the chance to stop her. Now if he can only overcome her strange pull on him and save lives.

A stunning conclusion to a great series that brings much needed attention to the illegal sex trade here in the United States and around the world that causes thousands of women to go missing each year. Alexandra Sokoloff writes with passion and as an informed author. In COLD MOON and the other two books in the series she makes it very interesting to read about a female serial killer you can't help but root for. The conclusion gives the reader closure and is well done. If you haven't read this series yet you need to pick it up. COLD MOON by Alexandra Sokoloff is a great addition any readers library.
