Peyton Arthur does not have the average life of an eighteen
year old. Her father, who passed away, was a famous author who
wrote a bestseller about her life and her family. And now her
mom is running to be the next Vice President of the United
States of America. So while getting ready for college, Peyton
is on the campaign trail helping her mom as much as she can.
But when an interviewer questions her paternity, Peyton's life
is thrown upside down. Fearing truth in the rumours, Peyton
decides to investigate even further which just leads her into
more trouble. On the bright side, at least she gets to spend
time with Dylan, a political intern who has been assigned to
keep her out of trouble - although what she wants from Dylan
would definitely get them into trouble.
Politics is Dylan's life and he is determined to gain as much
experience as possible during this campaign. But when his
chance of being involved is swapped for babysitting Peyton,
Dylan is not pleased. But as time passes and they become
friends, Dylan soon realises that there is so much more to
life than work. Knowing they can only be friends, Dylan tries
to help her discover who she is, but who knows where the truth
may lead them. With friendships, secrets, betrayals and
restrained passion, this campaign trail is sure to be unique!
RED BLOODED by Caitlin Sinead is a funny, emotional, sweet and
sexy romance and I loved it. Peyton is a deep character that
manages to be both vulnerable and emotional, but also strong
and persistent. Dylan is sexy and determined but oh so
serious, and it was a pleasure to watch Peyton ruffle his
feathers. With plenty of twists and turns, RED BLOODED by
Caitlin Sinead is a great read and I highly recommend it.
