Erica Hathaway has just graduated from Harvard and is the founder and operator of Clozpin, an online social fashion site. Erica has been alone in in the world ever since her mother's death and her step father sending her out to the East Coast to boarding school. The only people in her life are her mother's best friend Marie, and her two business partners, Alli and Sid.

While out celebrating her recent Harvard graduation, Erica literally bumps into Blake Landon, and the sparks start to fly. Sexy and handsome, Blake is every woman's fantasy. Although their run in is short, it leaves Erica with some fantasy material since she has no time for a man in her life. She is all career minded and her success right now is dependent on her meeting with the investors at Angelcom. the last thing she expected was Blake to be one of the investors at Angelcom. And so begins the romance of Erica and Blake.

Erica doesn't make it easy for Blake to get close to her. She is constantly pushing him away, because again, her main focus is getting Clozpin off the ground. However, Blake is use to getting what he wants...and he wants Erica. He will do just about anything to get close to her, even if that means getting her to rent the empty apartment in his building.

I absolutely loved HARDWIRED! I liked that the plot wasn't so completely focused on Erica and Blake. The story line combines Erica and per partners trying to get the money to grow the business. Allie moving away, Sid moving in, and Erica finding out who her birth father is and ultimately meeting him. Even meeting a man from her past that she would like more than anything to believe never existed.

HARDWIRED is a great way to start off a series! This is my first time reading anything from Meredith Wild, but I know it will not be the last! I can not wait to see how she proceeds with this series!
