THE SEER by Brenda Huber is the second instalment of The Chronicles of the Fallen, and it definitely lives up to its predecessor. Thrilling, dangerous and seductive, I fell in love with Carly and Niklas, and felt their emotions as they struggled with their complicated situation. Niklas has worked so long and hard to gain redemption but has never before met a woman like Carly - sweet, passionate, feisty and spirited - who accepts all of him and what he is. Niklas is a sexy demon with so many sides to his personality and with such depth of feeling, that the reader cannot help but fall in love with him too. Brenda Huber has done it again with her continuation of a fantastic plot, amazing characters and sizzling passion, and I cannot wait for the third in the series, Temptation.
