ON MY KNEES is Book five in the Stark series.
ON MY KNEES is the second book in the continuing story of
architect Jackson Steele and project manager Sylvia
Brooks.
If you haven't read Say my Name then I suggest that you
read
it first because it tells the story of where and how
Jackson
and Sylvia began and how they reappear in each other's
lives
years later.
Jackson and Sylvia both have dark secrets and pain which
they
deal with in various ways. The dynamics of this
relationship
has so many highs and lows that you wonder can they
survive.
When disappointing situations happen to Jackson his method
of
handling it causes great concern for Sylvia and she
suggests a
new method to handling things which benefits both of them.
They both do things that hurt the other and will bring
them
both to their knees in apology.
The first three books in this series will introduce you to
Damien Stark and Nikki. This is a great series that shows
how
powerful Damien is and how he takes control. I recommend
this
series. Damien is someone who takes control and gets what
he
wants. There are a lot of likeness between Damien and
Jackson. They will do whatever it takes to protect
someone
they love.
When secrets from the past threaten Jackson and Sylvia
they
have to decide if they can weather the incoming storm.
ON YOUR KNEES deals with trust and control issues and how
far you
are willing to go to protect someone you love. Will you
do
what you think is right even if there is a chance that it
might jeopardize your relationship?
There are so many hurdles this couple have to maneuver
through
that you just want to see them come out on the other side.
When you think they will make it Jackson and Sylvia are up
against another threat to their relationship.
I am looking forward to the next book in the Stark
series to
see what's in store for Jackson and Sylvia as well as
Damien
and Nikki.
