DEMON CHILD is the second book in Kylie Chan's celestial battle series, the name has never been more appropriate.

Emma and John sill grieve over the child they lost. Yet, Emma dreams of her child constantly. At the same time, because his serpent is stuck in Hell, they must fight the damage that is done to John.

Each battle does more damage to the celestial forces but only together can they conquer the evil that they face.

Emma is torn between her serpent and her human form. Her relationship with John grows ever stronger as she allows his turtle form into her bed.

After along, intense battle, Emma and Simone go to Hell to retrieve the serpent. Finally, the serpent and turtle are rejoined but Emma must be saved from being incorporated into them.

Ms. Chan's books are always engrossing. They are hard to put down even as the sadness flows from the loss of life that occurs. These are some of the best fantasy I've read in a long time. Each new book fills me with anticipation.
