WHAT PIPER NEEDS is Book two in Pushing the Boundaries Series.
In Book one, What Caroline Wants, Caroline and Jace had an experience with Emma and Pete that really freaked Caroline. After that experience Caroline realizes that couple swapping is not for her and Jace.
In WHAT PIPER NEEDS there are issues that Piper and Michael Collins have to come to terms with.
Piper and Michael previously engaged in an incident with Pete and Emma which caused a break in Piper. After that encounter she no longer had a desire to have sex with anyone, including Michael.
Piper no longer enjoys the experiences that she and Michael have been participating in and she's afraid to speak up. She thinks that if she tells Michael that she's not happy with the way things are currently going that it will put that relationship in jeopardy.
If you haven't read What Caroline Wants I recommend that you read it first because these stories tie in to each other.
As I mentioned when reviewing What Caroline Wants the books are very explicit. If WHAT PIPER NEEDS is the first book you have picked up and you have issues with explicit sexual situations, then this is not the book for you.
I found Piper and Michael's story interesting because they both had reservations about their situation but neither of them spoke up.
Piper and Michael really want to fix what's wrong in their relationship so they become very inventive and come up with their Top Ten Fantasy List. The scene in Michael's office starts getting things back on track for them and it's really hot. They are working through their issues but they both feel that something is missing.
How far would you go to please the other person in the relationship even if you were not happy with the way things are. Should you speak up or just go along?
I'm looking forward to the next book about Emma and Pete.
Miss Abbott knows how to paint vivid pictures!!!!! I am enjoying this series.
