Husband and Wife duo, Michael Johnston and Melissa de la Cruz team up for the Heart of Dread series. I have been a fan of Melissa de la Cruz since her Blue Bloods novels, so I was excited to see a totally new series from her. Although I did not read the first book in the series, Frozen, I was able to follow along with the story line. The story line keeps the reader entertained and wondering how Wes is going to get his team of their next endeavor. Authors de la Cruz and Johnston leave off this series with a cliffhanger that will surely be another epic adventure in the next book of this series.
