All Arianne wants is to escape the life of a motorcycle gang. Being the daughter of a motorcycle gang's president has only yielded her sorrow, anger, and disrespect. When she meets Jagger Knight, the president of a rival gang, Arianne is plunged even deeper into the world she is trying to escape. When their attraction proves too strong to deny, Arianne will have to make the decision once and for all on whether or not she's getting out, even if it means losing Jagger and possibly herself.
ROUGH JUSTICE by Sarah Castille is hands down one of the most intense romances I've ever read. From the very beginning, Castille delivers a world of intensity, gang action, loyalty, sexual tension, and a whole heap of conflict. With fierce and undeniably strong characters, readers will have a hard time stopping themselves from continuously turning the pages, wonder what fight or eruption will happen next.
While I left this story a little uncomfortable with how certain matters ended, Arianne and Jagger's relationship invokes serious discussions on what it means to be an equal in a relationship, treated with respect and given space and freedom, when the desire for control is almost impossible not to grab. Their banter and nearly ridiculous (in the best way) level of sexual tension is incredible, and I can't think of the last time I read such a complicated romance where I truly wasn't sure how, or if, everything was going to work out.
Though some parts did leave me with conflicted feelings, I absolutely enjoyed the challenges ROUGH JUSTICE made me go through as a reader as much as I enjoyed the challenges the characters faced. Sarah Castille crafts an unforgettable world, characters, and overall story with this one, and I can't wait to see what the Sinner's Tribe Motorcycle Club brings next.
