FBI Special Agent Matthew Roarke and his team are
searching
for serial killer Cara Lindstrom. She has killed many men
all of them very bad guys in their own right. There is a
code to her killing, she only takes out those she believes
deserve it and even the FBI has a hard time feeling any
sympathy for those she has killed.
Cara is the sole survivor of a serial killer name the
Reaper who killed whole families over twenty five years
ago. She herself barely survived and still has the scar on
her throat to show for it.
Now as Agent Roarke and his team get closer to Cara, The
Reaper appears to have started killing again and Roarke
must do whatever it takes to stop anyone else from dying.
Alexandra Sokoloft creates not only a rare subject, a
female serial killer, but she actually makes her
sympathetic.
You know she must be stopped, but part of you wants to see
her escape. Roarke is a strong FBI agent trying very hard
to do the best job possible, but his humanity comes
through
and you feel for his dilemmas.
BLOOD MOON is a great continuation of the series and can
be
read as a standalone. The chase of both these serial
killers by this team of FBI agents is exciting and page
turning. You can fell the stress and lack of sleep as they
chase not one, but two serial killers. BLOOD MOON is a
psychological thriller that leaves the reader wanting more
stories from Alexandra Sokoloft.
