Readers who fell in love with the first BOOMERANG story from Noelle August, BOOMERANG, will love this sequel following new characters in REBOUND. I was initially intrigued with Alison in the first book, and I am so glad she got her own story. Her character development is genuinely heart- warming as she learns to trust someone new and allow herself to thaw out a little. I especially love all the side details about her love of horses.
Adam is right there with her with his own character growth. He and Alison are the kind of characters that I couldn't imagine with anyone else. While to their employees and coworkers, they may seem cold and callus, the two of them together heat up a scene easily and quickly. Readers will adore their journey and root for this couple hard.
The underlying themes of this novel, relaxing against a crushing past, letting go of negative influence in life, and finding a place where it's okay to trust again, make this story a deep romance, an encouraging work of strength, and quite simply, a lovely book. REBOUND is everything I hoped it would be and more, and I am on an eager lookout for Noelle August's next installment.
