Romance Suspense

Grace Meredith used to be the top assassin in the CIA, until her daughter was killed by another assassins' bullet. Gabe Brennan was the CIA's top black ops operative until his daughter was killed by an assassins' bullet. Grace and Gabe had been secretly married and tired to keep their daughter hidden but she was still murdered. Grace left and went rogue, hiring out to whomever she could to make money. Gabe started a private security firm using his skills fighting against those he deems the biggest threat. Gabe finally finds a way to bring Grace in and pulls her back from the edge to help in a mission. Gabe's new team is initially shocked to meet the woman of legends and even more shocked when they realized she is Gabe's wife. Now they must all work together to reach the mission goals. Things between and Gabe and Grace begin to heat up again. They realize it is hard to let go of the only person you have ever loved. Killers from the past come back for more and the whole team is put in jeopardy. KILL SHOT is an exciting story about a group of people that learn to work as a team despite their differences. Gabe and Grace have lived through one of the most painful thing any parent can and it is inspiring to watch as they deal with each other after years of avoiding the loss of not only their child but of each other. All the characters in this story have great interaction and are compelling. Liliana Hart has once again brought us a story with people in it that makes us as the reader feel their pain, love and strength. Still waiting for the next book.

SUMMARY

Grace Meredith is the CIA’s most deadly assassin. Too bad she’s gone off the grid and become a mercenary for hire. After the death of her daughter by a sniper’s bullet, Grace can no longer stomach the demands of agency life or keep herself from blaming the only man she’s ever loved. Her mind and body are fragile, and she knows she’s just a step away from breaking down completely. Gabe Brennan holds the weight of the world on his shoulders. As one of the most brilliant black ops agents the CIA has ever employed, he knows it’s no one’s fault but his own that his child was gunned down in cold blood. He might not have been able to save his daughter, but he’s determined to save his wife. He only has to find her first. Sexual tension crackles between Gabe and Grace from the moment they’re reunited, but between the man who is hunting them, a secret that’s been buried for eighty years, and a turbulent past—the odds are stacked against them.
