Gwen started life a surfer girl and bikini model that is
until her parents were murdered. Gwen then dedicated her
life to finishing their project, a way to predict El Nino
and deadly Ark Storms.
Gwen notices that the temperatures in South America are
rising at an alarming rate and knows she must find funding
to continue her work. When she makes contact with an
entrepreneurial billionaire Gabriel Messenger he offers
her
ten million dollars and a job to maintain her project.
Socked and happy she takes the job and works on life
changing projects, meets Dan, the man of her dreams and
then
finds her life and the lives of thousands in danger. Gwen
knows a storm is coming, a big one and now she fears that
she maybe helping to make it worse.
Gwen and Dan start an investigation to figure out just who
and what the deadly plan is. As they are investigating on
their own the Counter Terrorist Center and the Security
and
Exchange Commission are also running investigations to
stop
thieves and discover what a deadly Islamic terrorist is up
to in time to stop it.
The intrigued and danger make ARK STORM an exciting, fast
paced read. Linda Davis does her research on Ark Storms
and
the reader is able to understand the concept behind a real
and deadly threat to our nation and others.
Linda Davis ties the different cases and people involved
together in a manner that you will enjoy reading. She
keeps
you guessing until the end and rooting for Gwen, Dan and
everyone trying everyday to make our lives and world a
safer
place. The background, story line and characters just work
making ARK STORM a great book and well worth reading.
SUMMARY
The Ark Storm is coming—a catastrophic weather event that
will unleash massive floods and wreak more damage on
California than the feared “Big One.” One man wants to
profit from it. Another wants to harness it to wage jihad
on American soil. One woman stands in their way: Dr. Gwen
Boudain, a brave and brilliant meteorologist. When Boudain notices that her climate readings are off the
charts, she turns to Gabriel Messenger for research
funding. Messenger’s company is working on a program that
ionizes water molecules to bring rain on command.
