Romance Suspense

All Emily Foster wanted to do for her birthday was to let her hair down and have some fun. She and her friends go out to a club to celebrate and she accidentally witnesses something that will change her life forever. As she flees the scene, she literally runs in to FBI Special Agent Jake Ward, who is working undercover at the club. Sparks fly immediately between Emily and Jake, and not the good kind. When the safe house she has been staying at comes under fire, Jake takes her off the grid and hides her in the country at his boyhood home. Will he be able to keep her safe? RULES OF PROTECTION is the first book in the Tangled Texas series. It is one of the most humorous books that I have ever read, packed with fun and colorful characters. I loved the verbal sparring between Emily and Jake. I loved that Emily was has a backbone of steel and can give as good as she gets. She has never lived in the country and her mishaps during her stay are just laugh out loud funny. I loved Jake and his passion for his job, friends and family. I loved the secondary characters in the book and cannot wait for the next book in the series. I highly recommend RULES OF PROTECTION for anyone looking for a great, relaxing, humorous read.

SUMMARY
