Beautiful Creatures authors Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia come together again for a spin off series in Dangerous Creatures. DANGEROUS DREAM is a novella/short story which takes place as the Gatlin crew graduate high school.

Ethan, Lena, Liv, John, Link, and Ridley are all hanging out at the Dar-ee Keen when Link says those three words to Ridley that has her freaking out and the rest of the gang high tailing out of the firing range.

Link should have known better than to tell Ridley that he loves her...but he just needed her to know how he felt about her. He didn't think it would freak her out enough for her to take off....again.

Ridley has been jumping around the globe suppose to be having the time of her life this summer. At a Caster club in New York, she uses her power of persuasion to get herself into a game of Lair's Trade. The only thing she didn't count on was losing.

DANGEROUS DREAM is a short story/novella that follows Ridley during the summer she bet against the wrong person, and lost. I recommend reading DANGEROUS DREAM before starting Dangerous Creatures. I found that without that information, the reader may feel a bit lost in the beginning.
