Thriller

The United States finally collapses under the weight of its financial debt and a serious vacuum is left in the rest of the world. Financial markets are crumbling and nations are forced to make serious financial changes to survive.

Indonesia has become controlled by Muslim Extremist and after invading the Philippines, East Timor and Papua New Guinea they are headed to Australia. Australia no longer has the military support of America as the nation has fallen into complete disarray. An American missionary couple and their daughter escape the Philippines and arrive in Australia ahead of the Indonesian invasion determined to not watch another country fall.

James Wesley Rawles writes an exciting story about survival after an economic crash. He has a realistic view of the effect it would have on the world and the people in it. Not only is EXPATRIATES a good story but Rawles is very knowledgeable. James Wesley Rawles gives the reader detailed information on how to prepare for a world he believes is not many years off.

You don't have to be a prepper to enjoy EXPATRIATES; the story will keep you entertained and you may even learn something. But I must admit every time I read one of Rawles' book I do something more to prepare for any possible future disasters, this time I ordered silver coins. So grab the book sit down and keep eBay close at hand.

SUMMARY

Their America is gone forever After the United States suffers a major socio-economic meltdown, a power vacuum sweeps the globe. A newly-radicalized Islamic government has risen in Indonesia and—after invading the Philippines, East Timor, and Papua New Guinea—sets its sights on Australia. No longer protected by American military interests, Australia must repel an invasion alone.

In the thick of it all, Peter and Rhiannon Jeffords, American Christian missionaries in the Philippines, and Chuck Nolan, a Texan petroleum engineer in Australia, find themselves adrift in a world in flux. Chronicling the Jeffords’ and Nolan’s fight against Indonesia’s merciless advances, Expatriates is a riveting thriller and a powerful depiction of the authentic skills and techniques needed to survive the collapse of modern civilization.
