Lady Georgiana had a ruined reputation by the age of
sixteen. While Society deems it as a problem that cannot
be overlooked, Georgiana isn't one to worry too much
about it. In fact, her interests lie in other places as
if she's living another life.
What is most interesting about Georgiana is that she
lives a double life in some ways. In London, she is known
as Chase, the mysterious founder of the most popular
gaming hell. Her double identity has gone unnoticed for a
long while but once the secret is out, will London be
ready for her?
Duncan West is much more than your typical hero. He's
observant and he knows that Georgiana is hiding
something. NEVER JUDGE A LADY BY HER COVER explores their
romance is a sweet way, but Maclean definitely makes the
heroine shine in this book. A lot of the story is mainly
told through Georgiana's POV and explores her conflicted
feelings. Duncan's character, while intriguing, doesn't
compare I don't think. Georgiana definitely shines,
making her my favorite heroine since Callie in Nine
Rules.
With the end of the Rules of Scoundrels series, MacLean
definitely saved the best for last with NEVER JUDGE A
LADY BY HER COVER.
RITA® Award-winning author Sarah MacLean reveals the
identity of The Fallen Angel's final scoundrel in the
spectacular conclusion to her New York Times
bestselling Rules of Scoundrels series . . .
By day, she is Lady Georgiana, sister to a duke, ruined
before her first season in the worst kind of scandal. But
the truth is far more shocking—in London's darkest corners,
she is Chase, the mysterious, unknown founder of the city's
most legendary gaming hell. For years, her double identity
has gone undiscovered . . . until now.
Brilliant, driven, handsome-as-sin Duncan West is intrigued
by the beautiful, ruined woman who is somehow connected to a
world of darkness and sin. He knows she is more than she
seems, and he vows to uncover all of Georgiana's secrets,
laying bare her past, threatening her present, and risking
all she holds dear . . . including her heart.
