Della is jealous of Marnie's new love. She's also happy
for Marnie. When Marnie brings Bruce Doherty to the
shower Della throws, there are a lot of interesting
interactions with other women that has Della asking
questions.
When Della finds Helen strangled in her home, more
questions will come to her mind. Helen was one of the
women who seemed to be arguing with Bruce at the shower.
Ignoring her friend, Matthew's warning, Della sets out to
expose the killer and protect Marnie. What Della
discovers will lead to tying together a 20 year old
disappearance, a series of burglaries and the murders.
The third in the Weaving mystery series, WEAVE OF
ABSENCE
was an interesting read. The mystery was complicated and
drew my interest. While I will never take up weaving as
hobby, I can enjoy reading about it with this series.
