Between her growing relationship with Sam, the chance to buy great things at the President's Day sale with her friend, the Good Buy Girls, and how well her shop is doing, Maggie is flying high.

The only thing that can bring her down is her continuing battle with Summer over Sam. Even though Sam has made it clear that he isn't interested in Summer, she won't give up. When her mother comes to town, life becomes even more tense for Maggie.

When Summer is found over the body of her step-father with the weapon in her hand. Maggie and the Good Buy Girls will be on the trail of the killer. As much as Maggie dislikes Summer, she can't believe that Summer is a killer.

Maggie and Sam will be thrown into danger as the killer targets Summer's mother next.

The Good Buy Girls has been a fun series to read and MARKED DOWN FOR MURDER just made it better. It's great to see Sam and Maggie with such a solid relationship even with a little bit of a misunderstanding. The murder was well plotted and the identity of the killer is a big surprise.
