The Connections Series continues with FRAYED, book four, Ben and Bell's story. We know from the previous books in the series that Ben and Bell have crossed paths several times since college. However, this story is brought on by one night of indiscretion on both their parts.

Ben Covington has tried to shape his life to fit perfectly into the mold he created. He's made decisions which have affected not only himself, but those closest to him. Each decision has always been about what was best for him. For others in his life, his decisions has often led to pain and heartache.

Bell Wilde has just gotten her life back on track and trying to get her own business off the ground at the same time. To say that she doesn't need or have the free time for Ben Covington is no exaggeration. Their connection has always been something that neither of them understood.

Glimpses into their past give the reader more of an understanding to their story and their past. Both Ben and Bell have been through some really rough times in their lives and those events shape them. It seems when things are on the right path with these two, something brings them to a crossroads or they hit a snag and have to take a few steps back.

Even though FRAYED is the fourth book in The Connections Series, it was easy to get swept away in Kim Karr's world. I got to know both of the main characters, learn about their pasts and where they fit together. The story line is easy to follow along even though I did not read any of the other books in this series. I liked how the book was told in both Ben and Bell's point of view as well as tiny glimpses into their past. I will certainly continue to follow this series to see where the talented Kim Karr takes it!
