In Fortuity, Nevada, the Desert Dogs run the town. But when
the threat of a new casino development causes uproar among
residents, Vince Gossier knows that trouble isn't far
behind. The sudden death of his friend causes more
suspicions as his last words to him were something about
bones he had discovered. Yet Vince doesn't look into it
until his death the next morning and he realizes that it
might be helpful to finding out what is really going on in
Fortuity.
Kim Paget is a photographer hired to find out the same
thing. Despite the danger, Kim and Vince set off a series of
fireworks whenever they are together. It creates for a great
romance and suspense plot.
Cara McKenna also has incredibly fun and unique secondary
characters that will have readers clamouring for more. Raina
and Casey, in particular, are both characters I would love
to read more of. With their fiery and feisty attitudes, I'm
sure it will be a crazy ride!
