Victoria's father has been widowed and left to raise 16 year old Victoria on his own. When she is caught by her father with the stable boy. Victoria's father sends her to the Venus School for Young Ladies to finish out her education.

When Victoria arrives, soon it is revealed that perhaps this is not the type of school that her father intended to send her. By day her classes consist of cookery, politics, and running a household. However, at night her classes are in the art of pleasure.

Under the direction of her strict tutors, Madame Thackeray and Madame Hulot, Victoria is educated in the finer arts of sexual pleasures. Under their guidance and instruction, Victoria learns that there are plenty of fellow students and staff willing to share their carnal knowledge with her.

On a school break, Victoria returns home to England and finds her father in financial ruins. There is no staff, no heat, no food. Victoria even had to figure out a way to get herself to the house from the train station. But when a train accident claims her father's life, she is left with nothing but her new education to use to try to save the family estate.

Angela Meadows' novel, THE EDUCATION OF VICTORIA is not your average erotica novel. There is a small plot and lots and lots of sex scenes. If that is something you like, then this is the book for you. This doesn't usually work with most novels, but it flows nicely with this novel. Don't get too hung up on Victoria's age. Although she is a 16 year old girl, one must keep in mind that as a historical novel, that is about the age in which girls were married off usually to older men.

THE EDUCATION OF VICTORIA is the first book that I have read from Angela Meadows and will most likely not be the last. I like her writing style and the flow of this novel's story and characters.
