Having been unemployed for the last four months, Jessica is desperate to find a job. She is close to losing her apartment in Bakersfield and moving back in with her parents. She is in Philadelphia for a career fair when she sees a man that looks like Storm, the bad-boy rock musician she thought she was in love with. Following the man into a coffee shop, only to find that he is not Storm, but Dane Ranier.

Dane Ranier is a billionaire businessman, with his brother Rafe at Ranier Industries. His attraction to the woman who mistakenly took him for a former boyfriend has him intrigued. When he sees her trying to hail a cab in the rain, he has his driver pick her up, and takes her to her destination, the career fair.

After a little bit of searching that included some bribery, Dane find Jessica dining at a local restaurant, alone. He invites himself to dinner, and the pair easily fall into conversation over dinner and wine. Their attraction to one another leads them to her hotel room. However, when Dane wakes the next morning, she is gone, leaving only a note.

Back home, Jessica is packing up her belongings in her apartment when she is called for a second interview, and soon there after, a job offer. However when she meets her new boss, her stomach hits the floor as she is now the personal assistant to the man she left in her hotel room.

When Storm returns home to Philadelphia, he finds that his brother's new secretary is just the woman he has been looking for, Jessica. Known to Jessica as Storm, he is actually Rafe Ranier, and Dane's younger brother.

Jessica is left with the possibility that she may be in love with both men and finds herself stuck in the middle of not only her own turmoil of emotions but also between brothers. She is caught between the love she had for Storm, and the Rafe that now wants her in his life, and the new feelings she has towards his brother Dane.

HIS TO POSSESS is the complete book made up of the six novella ebooks released from December 2013 to January 2014. Being a new reader to Opal Carew's books, I was not disappointed. The book is well written and does a fantastic job of drawing you into the love triangle of Jessica, Dane, and Rafe.

I love when I find a book that I pick up with no real reason as to why, and no expectations of the outcome, and then completely devour it in less than twenty-four hours, like I did with HIS TO POSSESS. The story draws you in and keeps you there until you reach the end. I couldn't help but not relate to the down on her luck heroine who gets swept off her feet and into the arms of not only one but two gorgeous billionaires. I can not wait to continue with this series and read what comes next for Rafe in His to Claim.
