MARKED is part of The Mindspace Investigations series by Alex Hughes.

Adam is currently working for the Atlanta PD as a physic advisor and working hard every day not to fall back into his drug habit. His partner Cherbanio is still upset about the telepathic link he created between them in an emergency situation and now his ex is coming to him for help. The problem is she wants help with the Guild, the people in charge of telepath's, people Adam has made it a point to stay far far away from since the kicked him out years ago. Now he must not only try to help her but not lose everything that he has spent years trying to build in the process including his own freedom.

MARKED is a science fiction story about a man struggling with addiction and trying to get his life together despite bad odds. This is a world where telepaths exist among normal humans and the two are having a hard time co existing.

MARKED is an interesting story in a different kind of world that will be enjoyed by those who like a good sci-fi with a mix of mystery and even a little bit of romance thrown in. MARKED is part of a series but can be read alone. Though if you would like more detailed background on the main characters problems you want to read the other books first.

With MARKED Alex Hughes continues to delve into the world as it would be if strong telepaths lived among us.
