In the third instalment to The Wild Ones series, M. Leighton places Violet Wilson, a wallflower who lives for the benefit of others with Jet Belvins, a hot rocker with a sex addiction problem.
With her best friend experiencing a strange compulsion to cheat, Violet offers to support her by going to her sex addict meetings with her. However, her best friend doesn't show up and Violet is left alone, lying her way through the night and meeting the one guy who may very well convince her to be a little selfish for once.
As Violet has to keep up this lie, she agrees to help Jet with his problem, but for her, it only leads to more trouble as sparks fly between the two.
M. Leighton has an interesting premise on her hands. Fun and creative, THERE'S WILD, THEN THERE'S YOU throws two vulnerable characters off their game and puts them into a position where anything can happen. Leighton enjoys toying with her characters, testing them to see what she can get out of them. As a result, I think readers will enjoy this sexy but also sweet story.
THERE'S WILD, THEN THERE'S YOU is a story that focuses on the romance, proving to readers once again that Leighton is a master storyteller.
Heβs someone she canβt trust
Sheβs someone he thinks he knows
Violet Wilson is a wallflower. Shy, serious, and
accident-prone, sheβs got a bad habit of being in the wrong
place at the wrong time. The night sheβs forced to pose with
her friend might just be the worst time of allβthatβs when
she meets Jet Blevins. She knows better than to get involved
with someone like him, but he touches her in ways she never
expected, never wanted before.
On the outside, Jet is a typical rocker, an arrogant lead
guitarist who unapologetically lives a wild lifestyle. But
on the inside, heβs battling demons and using the stage to
escape the troubles of his past and the addictions of his
present. Until the night he sees Violet standing at the back
of the room. She brings his life into focus. She knows his
secrets. Sheβs the girl he canβt forget, and the one thing
he craves more than his addiction.
But can they ever hope to have a future when their very
foundation is nothing but lies?
