In Book three of the Gilvys of Dunross Series, Logan Gilvy has been sent to negotiate a deal for his family's whiskey. Logan travels to meet with Jack in hopes of selling his family's whiskey to him. However, Jack has other plans. Jack is using Charity to get information on Logan's whiskey business. Jack is terrible to Charity, which only makes Logan's protective instincts come out.

Charity West is a beautiful, proud, resilient woman. She is trapped in a partnership with Jack as his distraction. Her job is to keep men that Jack does business with distracted while Jack gathers information to use against them for his own gain. Having been ruined and abandoned by her family and the man she thought loved her, Charity has plans of her own that do not include Jack.

When Charity and Logan first lay eyes on each other, their connection is immediate. Under Jack's orders, she is to distract Logan in order to gain information Jack needs. However, the more time she spends with Logan, the harden walls she has around her heart are slowly being chipped away. In Logan, Charity sees the life she should have had but is struggling to keep her heart out of it.

FALLING FOR THE HIGHLAND ROGUE is the third book in the series, however, it was not hard to follow along. The story focuses on Logan and Charity, their ups and down, and twists and turns. I really enjoyed this book. A page turner from beginning to end, full of love, adventure, and mystery. FALLING FOR THE HIGHLAND ROGUE is a first time read for me by Ann Lethbridge, and I really enjoyed her story and her writing style. I will definitely look into her other novels.
