A fictional engagement between good friends - can they make it work, or will it ruin their friendship? A SEAL'S KISS is a fun adult romance which is just right as escapism - but I don't recommend lying about engagements in real life! Sage Taylor is a wanderer, who attends her friends' weddings in between trips to volunteer in Tibet or writing articles about the plight of homeless dogs. With so many places to see, and so many good causes, she doesn't intend settling down anytime soon. Then her father is diagnosed with a serious illness and she only wants to make him happy. Knowing that it would please her father if she married their friend Aiden Masters, who is now a Navy SEAL, she pretends that they are engaged. She doesn't reckon on Aiden arriving home from a tour and demanding to know what is happening. Everyone has heard about it but him. Aiden grudgingly agrees to play along just for Professor Taylor's sake and insists on rules before taking the mission, as he thinks of it. Rules such as no sexual contact. He believes that a pretence too far would spoil their friendship and while he finds Sage attractive he's been hiding this from her. How long will the rules last, and given that Sage genuinely starts to rethink her life, what will be the outcome? This is a hot romance for adult readers, with a thoughtful basis as author Tawny Weber reminds us that each generation has a responsibility to the others in the family. That old saying about a rolling stone gathering no moss has applied to Sage, and to a lesser extent to Aiden as well, but for all of us there is a time to stop rolling. A SEAL'S KISS shows the good-hearted, lively Sage what she's been missing. Tawny Weber has written several romance books.

SUMMARY

Subject: Navy SEAL Petty Officer Aiden Masters Current Status: On leave Obstacle: Deploy "Mission: (Fake) Engagement"…without actually falling for his fiancée! The goal of Mission: Engagement is simple—a fake engagement concocted to bring happiness to Sage Taylor's ailing father. The Rules: 1) Treat it like a military mission 2) Keep the truth undercover 3) The "engagement" lasts as long as the professor's health depends on it; and 4) No sex…especially with each other! But the incredibly spirited (and a touch quirky) Sage has never been one for rules. Especially when they involve Aiden's rock-hard navy bod and a ton of smokin'-hot sexual attraction. Which means in order to seduce this sexy SEAL, she'll have to completely outmaneuver him….
