Picking up right where A Dirty Shame left off, DIRTY ROTTEN
SCOUNDREL is book three in the J.J. Graves series.
J.J. is
having to face an extraordinarily shocking event. Yet she
doesn't do it alone, she goes to Jack and they deal with it
together. Jack has admitted to Jaye how much he loves her
and she has told him back. They are going to face
everything together. But once again death comes to their
door. This time it is in the former one of Jack's former
SWAT brothers. They soon discover all his former team
members are dead or missing leaving Jack as the last on the
list. The FBI, DOJ and his department are forced to work
together to catch the killers and protect those left alive.
J.J. and Jack have finally given into all their feelings
and lifted the limits on their relationship and it's
awesome to watch them grow closer than two people should.
Again Liliana Hart keeps her characters authentic and they
act as real people would; not creating undue drama on their
relationships. These are two people who love and respect
each other and act that way. She lets the drama and
intrigue of the crimes and other characters fulfill that
aspect of the story. J.J. shows sense and strength in her
interactions. The next book doesn't come out for a while
but I can't wait.
Can ghosts really talk?
J.J. Graves is about to find out when her past comes back to
haunt her. But before she and Jack can resolve her past,
they need to deal with his.
Six years ago Jack was left for dead during a SWAT raid he
commanded. He never speaks of what happened that day, but he
doesn't have a choice after someone starts murdering his
men. According to the FBI, Jack is either next on the list,
or he's the one behind it all.
