Part of her Extreme Escapes world, FREE FALLING tells the story of Mick and Blue. After reading both of her releases in the closely related Hell and High Water series, I was interested to find out more about this couple and how they met.

Blue is a very talented thief who meets his match in Mick and after losing a bet in a cat and mouse game agrees to the consequences. Which means a meeting on Mick's terms in his hotel room. But after getting stood up he decides to never let anyone else make the fool of him again. It's not until a year later when the undercover Mick must come to Blue's rescue that these two finally meet and come together again.

The action never stops as this couple work to put aside their insecurities and differences to overcome the odds. Their romance is extremely sexy and I was thrilled with how well these two tough guys complimented each other. While there is an instant attraction and love, I was so taken with how well Ms. Jakes allowed these men to work through their baggage that I didn't mind that feel to it. Blue and Mick have a very sexy physical relationship that worked for me on all levels.

The heavy suspense plot and love story are packed into a novella sized story, so it all moves very quickly, but I felt it was all rather well done to be contained in such a small amount of page time.

The glimpses of Prophet are sure to entrance long time readers of this author and intrigue those who aren't familiar with her other series. SE Jakes excels at writing strong, alpha men who set the page on fire as they fall in love with other strong, alpha men. Full of suspense, intrigue and action FREE FALLING is a romance sure to capture any romantic suspense lover's attention.
