Romance Paranormal

The townspeople throw themselves into their religion in hopes to keep the curse from claiming them and their loved ones. When the moon rises, the men in Olivia's family become wolves and prowl the countryside to protect their farm from predators. Their world is turned upside down when Olivia stumbles upon the body of the church caretaker on their land. She fears that one of the family has lost control. She struggles on what to do. Does she go to the local Sheriff or does she allow this man's family wonder what has happened to him. When Olivia decides to go to the Sheriff for help solving the murder, her family turns on her. She is no longer welcome at the farm. Having no where else to go, she is forced to face the townspeople and the one person she didn't want to have to face, her mother. When the Sheriff determines that the man was killed somewhere else and not on the Aksonas farm, Olivia has hope that her family will be cleared and everything can go back to normal, or as normal as things get on the farm. The last person Olivia expected of hurting her family had been someone she felt close to. Someone who was not part of the farm and she has know most of her life. I really enjoyed THE KEEPER. I was quite surprised that this was the Kim Despins first novel. Her writing is fantastic! Her characters are wonderful and the plot kept me turning the pages. I also love the new twist Kim Despin puts on her werewolves. I can't wait to see if there will be any more novels in the future!
