Ms. Wells has created a clever association between magic and addiction in both physical and psychological symptoms that is quite refreshing in this mix of the paranormal and police-procedural genres.

This novel has all the powerful ingredients to make you addicted to this new paranormal thriller! It wouldn't be a Jaye Wells novel without a tough, sarcastic, trash-talking female lead and DIRTY MAGIC does not disappoint! Kate Prospero is just the right amount of armor-plated tough chick, while doing her best to hide the deep-sewn scars within.
